Aussie lottery winner reveals how he'll spend $15 million fortune 1

Persistence has finally paid off for a man from Victoria who struck it rich in last night’s Oz Lotto draw.
The Horsham local in the state’s west secured $15 million after holding one of the two division one winning tickets in draw 1642.
The shocked father and grandfather admitted he had always believed his lucky day would eventually arrive after playing for decades.

“Honestly, I’ve always felt I was destined to win.
“Since my 20s I thought, ‘one day my numbers will come up’. It just took some time,” he explained to an Oz Lotto representative.
He shared plans to help his children clear their home loans with his fortune, while also indulging in his passion for motoring.
“A brand-new car and caravan are top of my list so we can take some trips, maybe even do a full lap around Australia,” he said.

The other division one winning entry came from Queensland.
More chances are on the horizon with tomorrow’s Powerball jackpot at $12 million, and next Tuesday’s Oz Lotto offering $3 million.
